What Is Labiaplasty?
Plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Rey performs labiaplasty to reshape the outer lips of the vagina (“labia majora“) or the inner lips (“labia minora“). This procedure is popular with women who wish to restore an aesthetic and/or functional balance to their most intimate area. When the inner or outer lips protrude beyond the vaginal opening, unpleasant effects can occur, including:

- Pain when wearing undergarments
- A “pinching” sensation during intercourse
